Putting some Karma into comedy and drama, Golden Globe and TV Guide winner Jenna Elfman radiates in this People’s Choice Award winning show.

Elfman stars as Dharma Finkelstein, a San Francisco yoga instructor/dog trainer. Raised by hippie parents, Dharma approaches everything with unbridled passion and openness. Since childhood, Dharma was taught to shun convention, trust her instincts, and truly find the joy in each and every day of her life.

Love at first sight is a concept Dharma takes very seriously, and when she first lays eyes on Greg Montgomery (Thomas Gibson), a Harvard-educated U.S. Attorney, she's sure he's the one. Despite the fact they come from completely different worlds, the feeling is mutual. Greg finds Dharma's energy irresistible and before their first date is over--the two are married. When Dharma's bohemian parents, Abby (Mimi Kennedy) and Larry (Alan Rachins), find out their little girl has married into the "establishment," they voice their concerns. When Greg's uptight, blue-blood parents, Kitty (Susan Sullivan) and Edward (Mitchell Ryan), find out who their son has married, they choke on their pâté.

And so begins the life of Dharma and Greg, two romance-fated strangers committed to each other and their marriage, despite the insanity of their respective dysfunctional families and the crazy world around them.  This, life-affirming, romantic half-hour comedy opens our eyes to the power of true love.
