• Lois & Clark

"Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman" is a romantic action/adventure series with comedic overtones, which puts a 1990s twist on the time-honored legendary superhero. The series brings to life the comic book characters Clark Kent, his superhuman alter-ego--Superman, and Lois Lane, fiction's first lady of the press, in what began as the most unrequited romance of all time.

For over half a century, the exploits of this "strange visitor from another planet" have thrilled the world. Undoubtedly American fiction's best known hero, Superman was created as a comic book character in 1938 and evolved into a cultural icon presented in virtually every form of media known. This "Man of Steel" continues to be beloved by generations of admirers across the globe.

Set just one minute into the future, "Lois & Clark" brings us back to the fabled city of Metropolis, complete with its legendary newspaper, The Daily Planet, and features a very '90s portrait of Lois Lane and Clark Kent.

Although from the planet Krypton and possessing superpowers, Clark Kent (Cain) looks and acts like any normal, healthy 29-year-old newspaper reporter. Charming, conscientious, muscular and handsome, Kent has adjusted quite well, thank you, to big city life.

As tempted as he is to reveal his powers to the world and be rid of his secret identity, Clark resists because he knows it would jeopardize his chance to lead a normal life...living, working, marrying and having a family. Lois Lane (Hatcher), a 27-year-old spitfire, is a fearless investigative reporter for The Daily Planet. Often in over her head in pursuit of the big, dangerous story, she's a complicated, domineering, uncompromising person. Yet she's brilliant and won't be satisfied until she gets the Pulitzer.

Saturdays 6.30pm starting Jan 1 (with encores at 8am Sunday)
